"WOW!! I'm impressed. Besides changing the battery and finishing the job as fast as a couple of days, they were able to clean my MacBook Pro screen from the inside. The screen had this reflection in the background which was distracting to look at while working and neither Apple nor Best Buy were able to address this issue when I took my laptop to them a couple of years ago. I accepted the issue as a matter of fact that the laptop is getting older and did not seek outside help until Apple referred me to Computer Doctor BJ as their authorized service provider. "I first visited these guys in the summer of 2018. They helped me recover the data from a flash drive which I believe was split into almost a wishbone-like way. I was forever grateful. They were great at recovering everything in a timely manner and charged a reasonable price. Fast forward 6 years later, it happened again with a different device. This one was not reading on my laptop but was still fairly intact. You would think I learned to keep backing up all my data but I am only human so I do forget from time to time. Originally I took it to another repair who claimed the data was unrecoverable and said I needed to send it out of state to a facility that is more qualified to handle situations like this. Well, I wanted a second opinion to keep things local so I went to Computer Doctor BG. They were able to help me this time around too. It took 2 days to recover the files, offer a price for the service, and do it. All the while, I learned that I used their services before. But that was so many years ago that I naturally forgot! However this time, I will not forget. I also opted to buy more flash drives to duplicate and triple my stuff, which are now on three different devices in case something should happen to one of them. When our MacBook developed a problem with the display and trackpad, we took it first to the Apple Store where they diagnosed it as a logic board failure and then immediately and very casually said we would lose all our data including important recent work files that had not been remotely backed up yet. When pressed on this they said there was nothing to be done and it was a waste to even try. We left and took the MacBook to Computer Doctor BG and Aamer was able to recover all of the information from the computer same-day, and completed the Apple Care warranty replacement of the logic board within 24 hours of receiving the part. Aamer and Computer Doctor BG saved us hours of work -- in future will head here first and skip the Apple Store for the best customer service."

"Panic was forthcoming for months. All of my paintings for the last 10 years plus were on my "no longer" updated on a regular basis. Functions were being affected. A search was conducted, starting with Apple. That experience was unpleasant trying to discuss your problem to an answering system. Then I discovered Computer Doctor BG, an authorized Apple repair business. -- why didn't the Apple Store answering menu refer them? The Computer Doctor technician listened intently to my concerns and what was needed -- transfer Photos and Notes to two, much newer IPads plus to a flash drive. Aamer was professional, polite, and reassured me that he could save all for, what I thought was a reasonable quote. The work was done and I was ecstatic. "I took my "vintage" (2013) Mac in for a new hard drive. These guys are who Apple recommended for my repairs.
You don't need an appointment just drop it off. They will text you with updates.
My repair was a bigger job than I expected. When they installed the new hard drive, they found out that only ONE USB port was working. This was probably why it was not backing up . They ordered a new motherboard and installed it. (Jarod) I think was the techs name that worked so hard on my computer. It took about a week to transfer all the data from my old malfunctioning hard drive. He monitored it and gave me updates. I am very glad that he was able to recover everything. I really did not want to replace my Mac I don't think the new Macs are as good as my "vintage".
If you do want a refurbished Mac they have them for sale.

I found Computer Doctor BG (Centennial). I brought it there. Jared analyzed the computer, ordered the part and gave it back to me within an hour, so I was not without my computer. The part arrived in 2 days. I brought the computer back and Jared had it repaired in a half hour. Much better than Apple service. They also honor Apple warranty and Apple Care. Best service that I have ever received!"

"My MacBook Pro crashed without warning and in a panic I went to the genius bar at Apple to get it resolved. They kept my computer for two days and told me I had to send it in to an Apple tech, which would cost $700 and then get a quote from there. I was already desperate without my macbook for two days and the associate recommended I take it to Computer Doctor BG instead to get a better price. I stopped in without an appointment and spoke with Aamer. He quickly assessed the situation and brought out a replacement computer for a quarter of the price I originally paid and would pay for a new laptop at Apple. He said my logic board was out and he could transfer all my data and throw in a charger with the purchase of the new laptop, which also included apple care for a year plus. The next day I picked up my new MacBook and couldn't be happier with the expert knowledge. customer service and turn around time. Definitely recommend!"
